JBU m16 kit vs. picked parts

I got around to a nice m16, and decided to make it into a DM. I had my CYMA m14, but decided that the quality of the gun was not worth the DMR. What bothers me is that the JBU M16 kit includes metal piston head and metal toothed piston. Never having worked on version 2's, I hear that the gearboxes are flimsy. Is it better for me to get the kit ( keep in mind that it is only $ 60) or get my own parts put be sure that they are good. Here is just a quick list, ADVICE NEEDED
1 x G&P Polycarb Piston (White Color)
1 x Echo 1 / Modify Version 2 Spring Guide with Bearings
1 x Echo 1 / Modify SP120 spring
1 x Modify Polycarbonate Piston Head w/ Bearings
1 x Modify Nozzle for M4/M16
1 x G&G Version 2 Metal Cylinder Head
1 x Modify Precision Shim Set

To be honest, don't upgrade your internals lol. Stay at 400-420ish and upgrade your barrel and hop-up. You'll only cause issues after 430ishhh with breaking stuff often.

ORRR get a gbb/HPA rig. They make for better DM platforms.

How many DMRs have you built? My CA is at 470 with a stock gearbox and gears and I have put about 10k rounds through it with no problems (I've opened the gearbox to verify this).

Dankal, what is you FPS goal? If its under 450 you should be perfectly fine with a stock gearbox (shell). I personally would go with the kit, just because if is probably going to cost about the same in lose parts and since you dont know a lot about the V2. They are weak towards the front, but a lot of the new designs have bracing in the front. Also, this problem stems from clone companies using cheaper metal in the gearbox construction. Like I said, if you keep it under 450fps, you will be fine.
