There is your problem! Fire the gun in semi and if it moves, then you piston is just back. If no then your tappet plate might be stuck or broken.

as for range i would swap out barrels for a 6.03, and not 6.01 reason why is for assult rifles air flow is whats going to give you distance, if you have a 6.01 barrel in the gun the BB will not much air flow because of how tight the actual bore is, where as 6.03 the air flow is moving and is going to send the BB further.

I never thought about that RNA. I'll probably swap out for a 6.03 soon if I can.

I'll test my air nozzle tomorrow, and update you on that.

... What? Can I have your physics textbook, please?

There's a velocity increase when going to tighter bores. Why? Better compression. I'm very confused about that reasoning above.

Your .01 is fine.

I'm with MacGyver on this. Changeing to a 6.03 will just let more air pass by the BB in the barrel and thus reduce velocity. The 6.01 will also add some accuracy.

i agree with you stangghia, like he said, cycle the gears a few times and see if it changes, but it sounds like it is attached. you should be able to see the air nozzle moving while you shoot it, if not, then you have an issue with your tappet plate.
