Ah but they operate in the 70cm range ( 400-470) You're gonna need an amateur radio license to operate these legally.

So do regular walkie talkies. Thats why I can talk to people with my GP68.

They look interesting, but I will keep my radio.

It depends on what frequencies they use. Not all walkie talkies require a license.

If you're really that dedicated to wanting a two way radio, most phone providers offer a push to talk solution for contractors and businesses.

Just go that route.
