Hey does anybody know how to distinguish between a madbull and real steel troy ris?

The only variation between the two is that the madbull rail has "FOR MILSIM ONLY" on the side.

And there isn't room for a gas tube on the airsoft version. The real one also uses helicoils to keep the barrel clamp screws from backing out.

That isn't a madbull. It does appear to have the features of the real one. However unless you know where it came form it hard to say it its real or a really nice copy.

Looks real to me. Finish looks correct. And looks identical to the one I have on my AR15

Coming from someone who just finished putting two of those on mine and a friends AR15 upper earlier today your rail looks to be real. On the right hand side of the rail the words "Troy" should be printed in white underneath the integrated rail.

Wait, so you posted on here to tell people that it's up for sale? I don't know you, and this might not have been your intention, but it seems to me that you just made up this thread to inform people of something that you have in your for sale thread.

If you have it, why don't you look to see if it has "For Milsim Only" on the rail? And why don't you take pictures of that spot to show people if it has it or not?

I posted this to find out if in fact this was the real one and from the info in the above posts i determined it was and then added it to the sales thread. And it is the real one if you look at the pictures on the sales thread you can see that there is not "for milsim only" on the side. Sorry i guess i forgot to upload that pic on this thread.
