I see you like chest rigs. So we put a plate carrier on your chest rig so you can rig your chest while you carry plates.

So you can quickly change your carrying abilities without having to buy a ton of pouches or another PC.

Example: Buy and APC with a 5.56 chest rig and 7.62 chest rig

Genius hit the nail on the head, they're also handy if you ride in a turret. Sometimes the pouches on the rig get in the way when you're trying to slay bodies.

Might want to pick up a metal recoil rod assembly. The plastic ones the KJWs use don't seem to last very long. You can use the same guarder part the KSC uses though.

Are you going to rig your eye pro to the rail clips?

...long story short, No. I can fit my strap around my head. Plus, the rail clips are a little crappy. I don't want to risk eye pro over clips. The only thing that Emerson made worth using is the Picatinny adapter, and the NVG mount. (even then, they are the same material.)0

The padding is wonderful, and the helmet fits quite well around my big a$$ head.

This is,quite perhaps, the best buy I have made all year. The site had them on sale.

The helmet actually comes with OPS gear manuals and pieces, so I don't think it's a re-make. (if you mean Emerson remaking OPS gear, of course it's a re-make.) I'll do some more research on it when I get the chance.

The thing is very lightweight, and more than decent for airsoft use. I can almost feel the wind in my beautiful hair when I run. If you buy solid colors, you could even use it to ride motorcycles/bikes/etc...I'm not saying the helmet is very cheap feeling by any means, but the Multicam print on it seems pretty good. The pads were a little out of whack, but everything is adjustable. They've made a very comfortable helmet for a great price.

My favorite thing about the Mayflower APC so far is that I really don't need a lot of pouches to make it work. Most of it is integrated. Without adding pouches, I can carry 9 mags, multi-tool, maps, pens, lights, and patches.

A big trick is to have all your pouches on the chest rig so you can ditch the weight when you are in the wire and required to have the armor on.

Pantac Wasatch Vest

This is my Pantac Wasatch vest I've had for a couple months now. It's my first real go at a 'customized' vest (as opposed to a $30 all-in-one vest).

Lookin for some input on how to improve or just general opinions

Pantac Wasatch Vest

Admin Front Panel holds map, lighter, multi-tool

Holds up to 12 M4 mags, running 6 mids for now

Furthest right pouch holds more utilities; 8.4 batt., speed loader, anti-fog spray, and a small bag of bb's

Furthest left pouch holds another small bag of bb's and my pistol, held down with a draw string and attached to a pistol lanyard.

Boot knife with sheathe on left shoulder ( for backyard games/appearance only )

Considering that I have had a HSGI Weesatch (slightly smaller version 8 mags) since 2005 (and now two), the biggest problem is the inevitable sag after mags are moved. This is exacerbated by the fact that we don't use real plates. Considering the already high mag capacity of the rig and that most dump pouches only fit six comfortably, its key to work from one side of the rig to the other in mag reloads. While this is good TTP for any rig, as you work across, replace empty slots with empty mags turned the other direction. For example I have my mags with the bullets facing my strong side. When I put the empty mag back in, the bullets "would be" facing the weak side.

The other thing is to get the wee/waa/woo/satch properly adjusted. I think the waasatch is inevitably the victim of the lazy airsofter. I have seen more super sagging unadjusted waasatches other there. Having the waasatch tight and centered will minimize the sagging issue and keep everything where it should be.

That is exactly the one problem I'm having on this vest. The front has always sagged down.

Just before i took the picture I believe I finally got it adjusted properly and it now sits pretty good in the center. For a while I just figured the vest was a little big on me but i adjusted the straps a little more and it seems to be fitting pretty well. There's still a little "looseness", especially when I run the vest still bounces around a bit.

So I thought about this and I was thinking maybe a hydration carrier/backpack would help balance it out a bit. Although I figured all that means is that I'll drop money on a backpack that holds a bladder which the vest already has a pouch for, and that will make me the "ammo guy" which might slow me down a bit in terms of speed and agility.

Yeah, I have my Condor Weesatch literally as tight as I can get it (Had to tie the straps in knots so it didn't loosen over time) and I still get called out for sagging... Then again, I'm pretty skinny, not much muscle to help.

You can go to a fabric store and find some foam sheets that are about as think as plates. Cut them to shape and insert them in the front and rear. It not only fills out the rig, but is far more comfortable when you land on your mags. Also DONT use the backpanel to hold your water bladder, get a molle hydo carrier and attach it to the rear. If you use the backpanel and insert the bladder into it, you will constantly be tightening it.

Clone gear will never hold up compared to the original, but you can order the real improved straps/shoulder pads from HSGI to augment your clone.

That's a great idea, I never thought about getting foam inserts to put in there. I have been looking for a fake plate but foam sounds like it'll do the job!

I've never really had a problem with the bladder being in the back panel except for the one time the valve wasn't closed tightly enough :P but I might as well plan on getting a designated hydro carrier/backpack. Sounds like it'll be worth the $50 or so.

Also thanks for that site, never been there before.I'll definitely look into upgrading some of the straps and shoulder pads.

Thanks for the input D-Boy!

I closely inspected the spring guide rod and it is definitely made of metal. Perhaps KJ Works improved their product? IDK, but I did buy the slide and frame separately, maybe that's the trick. Nevertheless, I appreciate the help. Thanks.

I have a Weesatch, and yes, a hydration bladder helps a lot with the front sagging down. Once you get used to carrying the weight around, I don't see why it would affect you that much.

It probably won't really affect me that much, it's just that i like to play fast and the thought of any other gear on me might slow me down, or possibly make me act like a cat with tape on it's side...but realistically I won't jam the backpack with too much stuff so I should be fine.

This shows how much it currently sags, kinda looks like a preggers belly D: although i have adjusted it a little better since i took the pic.
