I usually use "Scarecrow" but the name was taken, so I used headbastard for recognition, but, alas, its a proscribed word, so here I am, "Firecrow".

So for the necro, but, I am here to answer any questions if you have any.

It may have been a few months, but he definitely contributed new information to the thread. Did you?

ON topic, thank you for offering to answer any questions about your products. I know that when they first showed up to the forums there was some speculation as to where they were from and its quality. After looking at your site, I am curious if you do or will offer bio BB's at some point.

Funny you ask, I just did a dry run of .20g and .25g in a starch based BioBB I've called "EcoBBs" (simply a marketing thing to differentiate them). I've done some things dimensionally and with polish with this batch, and also done some things with the packaging. BioBBs are not as popular where I am and in one particular case got a bad rap for disintegrating against a mesh mask nearly blinding someone. Also storage can be an issue. I've comp'd out about 30 bags so far for feedback. I'm letting my customers decide whether I should carry them or not. I've shot them in my tightbore (Prometheus 6.02) and they seem no different from their .25g styrene based counterpart - but that's totally anecdotal.

That's why we don't allow mesh masks here.

There is less experience here with BioBBs so this happened before those characteristics were fully understood. Most games here are played on private lands and eyewear options are more liberal, but at my games I've banned mesh as well, and my EcoBB product label has a specific warning about open mesh goggles. If you play here at a paintball field, you have no options, you have to wear proper paintball eyewear.

I think the BioBB has made more inroads in the US in part due to the fact that your country has a better acceptance of airsoft and you get the option to play on government lands, so they control and demand BioBBs. In Canada airsoft is very much an underground sport because of the anti-gun culture that has evolved here (mostly in our cities, go to the country and everyone hunts and has guns) so, aside from taxing us, the government prefers to ignore the sports existence and any laws we do have pertaining to airsoft, fall under the firearms act.
