Hi, I submitted an event request a week ago for Mansfield (north central) Ohio. It has yet to be put on the calendar. I am making my own efforts to notify team leaders of this event since we are 2 weeks away. It is being played on a paintball field open to supporting airsoft in the void that is north central Ohio. Success means future events. Failure means a one time thing. If interested contact me via message and I will send you all the details. The date is Sunday 6/29 Gate opens at 1200 and play is from 2-8pm. Thanks!

Do you have any plans on getting everyone together and rolling out to one of the Fallen Warriors games in Desert DPM?

Do you know if they will have the actual armor in them?

My plan is to buy the cover, brand new if I can locate them new, then just use a filler to mimic the look and feel of armor, just like the airsoft vest makers do. That would be the most realistic option, next to buying one with real armor in it.

Just ordered my DPM Desert UBACS from Cadet Direct, in the link below. I noticed that the DPM Desert trousers are not currently listed, must be out of stock. I'm going to get started here soon on making an authentic replica of the Osprey body armor.

Hi all,

Much like Spetsnaz' group O-RUS, this is an attempt to create an Ohio-based virtual team around British based loadouts. We will model after the modern UK SFSG in order to give some leeway in terms of clothing, guns, and gear. But full on impressions of Royal Marines, Para Regiment, SAS, SBS, Pathfinders, etc. are always encouraged and welcome.

The interim team site is found here:

Ok, I'm really surprised none of the veterans have written about this topic before, so I thought I'd briefly discuss the topic of choosing an AO member name.

What is a member name?
Well, it's the forum name that you sign up with when you create an AO account. It's the name you will log on with, and the name that that you will be recognized with in the AO forums. Many different AO members have reasons to create the name they log in with; some are nicknames, some are chosen...
