Canadian airsoft tournaments

Posted 12-17-2009 at 09:40 AM by Noodlez87
Hey everyone,

My family has an island located in Ontario, Canada, on which we hold a lot of matches. There are about 100 islands in the whole lake (maybe more), that are covered in dense woods and rocky terrains. Our island is a little over 7 acres and has 2 cabins. We go up at least 2-3 times a year, preferably in the summer. If you are considering a new airsofting experience, we would love to have newcomers to the island this next summer.

Details and Photos will be posted shortly
Thanks

You are aware that most American AEG's are not permitted within Canada as they do not have a clear receiver.

I retract that, as you guys are right... Canada, for whatever reason, has some firearms available to purchase that the U.S. does not. The civilian Tavor is one example. The inherent right to own and purchase a firearm, however, is not more friendly than the U.S (which occurred sometime mid-century, I believe... decades later than the U.S. NFA). Sorry for the vague half-assed, and therefore incorrect, statement.

Haha yeah, but this has to be like the...3rd-4th year going up taking all of my guns (airsoft), and i havent had any problems with them. As of gun laws, havent paid much attention to them lol.

No one has had any problems in all of the tournaments we've held either, so there must not be any rules where we are.

The PTW is Legal in Canada... Just have to jump through hoops to get them that way.

Anyways, check out the coordinates 46.137475,-81.664494
My girlfriends family has a camp just outside of Willisville Ontario. I hunt there. Could work for airsoft too, but only accessible by boat.

You also have to remember that just because you haven't been caught, that doesn't mean that there aren't any rules or laws prohibiting what you do.
